To arrange an audition please contact Vera Kochanowsky.
Summer auditions are preferred so singers may be admitted by the start of the season. However, auditions can be arranged throughout the year. Applicants must have good sight-reading skills, be comfortable singing in many languages, and have some experience performing early music.
Some other ways you can help Carmina and Illuminare include ushering at concerts, assisting with mailings, organizing special events, such as fundraisers, and general clerical work. Please contact us to arrange something that works best for you.
We are currently looking for an intern. The intern would primarily assist with grant research, foundation research, finding new performance opportunities, developing better publicity, and helping to find business donors. The internship will primarily be work-from-home, with progress meetings scheduled every 1-2 weeks as needed. Duration, hours, and meeting locations are all flexible, but we are looking for someone for a minimum of 1 semester and a minimum of approximately 5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of university or equivalent experience and a background in classical music. A background in early music or vocal music would be a bonus. Interest or experience in the project areas mentioned above is also a bonus. Please contact Andrea Rebholz for more information.
